Wet, Wet, Wet!! What else can we say. This year's Spring Championship race was quite an event. On Sat. May 31 we had a car with no brakes that caused quite a bit of excitement (click for views) and then it started to rain. The race was stopped with the idea of finishing it on Sun along with the second race. Yeah right!. Well it rained all night and through the day on Sun. So.... It was decided to finish the racing on the following Sat, June 7. On Sat, June 7 the racing did continue until it started raining again with no hope of clearing. We still had more than half the race to finish and no one likes the idea of a coin toss to determine the results so what do you do? Race in the rain! We shorten the track to reduce speeds and allow safe braking and finished, finally. Click for Rain Shorten Track
